This is me. Zoe: the face behind Worth Photography. When I was 6, our teacher told us to draw what we wanted to be when we grew up, so I drew an artist. At 31, I still feel the same. I’m from country-Queensland. I’ve lived in Brisbane, but now I’m based on the Sunshine Coast. I fell in love with a guitarist / sound guy 8 years ago, when he was playing bass at the races and I was dancing with my girlfriends. We’re renovating a ’70s A-Frame. I love home. But I also love travel. I’m a fur-mama to a staffy/golden retriever called Daisy. I believe in love. And I believe in love stories. I’d love to chat to you about documenting your big day (or the little milestones in between) real soon!
I love to capture the in-between moments of a wedding: the stolen kisses, the crying kids, and the cheek-to-cheek dancing, as well as the big, bold, shiny moments: like the scramble for the bouquet toss, the first kiss, and the look on your faces as you say “I do”. Like most photographers, I’m a lover of light and finding stories in the detail. My photography style is mostly artistic and candid. I give direction but also let beautiful shots happen naturally. I’m approachable, flexible, and fun – I walk away from my photography sessions feeling like I’ve photographed friends (not total strangers), and I’ve had many clients comment that my approach puts them at ease: it was like having a friend hang out.
